Alice takes us backstage at her Shadow Theatre!

I was diagnosed with Dyslexia when I was 21 years old, during my first year of University. My strengths in Art and Design enabled me to grow in confidence during my earlier years of learning. I had always found that I struggled with certain academic subjects at school so getting a diagnosis and support was a relief.
As a Creative Mentor, I share my own experiences of having Dyslexia with the children and teach them various skills in Applied Arts. I hope they will be both surprised and excited by their creations and gain confidence in new areas of art and design.
